About

The “Average Joe Olympics” are our mid-level tournaments. They are meant to be a sparring floor for intermediate players. We either host them as in-house events, or open them up to the public by hosting them as FAF community tournaments. The latter will be promoted through the official FAF channels. The tournament type is on display in the header of this very page.

Live Streams

In case we have someone live streaming our tournament, we will announce the streamed games right before the tournament begins. Usually, a screenshot of the bracket, in which the streamed games are marked, serves the purpose of a streaming schedule. In case you are supposed to take part in one of these games scheduled to be streamed, please make sure to wait for our streamer to join your game before you start to play. In case the game scheduled to be streamed prior to your game got delayed for whatever reason, you are supposed to wait until this game has been finished, and the streamer is able to join your lobby.

We use combined global team ratings for the seeding. The top seed will play the lowest seed in the first round.
